Wow! I cannot believe the end of 2018 is nearly here along with some big King tides on
Xmas Eve and Xmas day. The club’s presentation night was held last Saturday at
the Bowling Club. The lovely two course meal from the Swordfish Restaurant was
enjoyed by all of our members and the night especially for our prize winners.
Overall Points Champion went to Les Toth, who also won the Outside Men’s
competition and Most Beat the Boards. Phil Bailey came runner up for Overall
Points and was the winner of the Men’s Rock and Beach category with the runner
up being Shann Carriage. The Women’s High Point score trophy went to Lorraine
Burt and she also won the Women’s Estuary while Samantha Bailey was first in
the Women’s Rock and Beach competitions. The Outside Men’s runner up was Carl
Babbington and the Men’s Estuary first place went to Rex Penfold and Dave
Stevens as runner up. The two Junior awards went to Kobe Carriage and Kiara
Barkle. The SS Paddle award this year was given to Bruce Bailey.
Congratulations to all of our recipients. First prize in the Xmas tree raffle
